Import Module - Saves you hours in entering transactions into QuickBooks
Supports a wide range of import file formats - your import data can be Microsoft Excel (2007 or earlier) format, a text file (CSV and Tab), or an qbXML file.
Supports the full range of transaction types - if you need to import transaction data into QuickBooks then you can choose from the extensive list of transaction types including: Invoices, Sales Receipts, Sales Orders, Estimates, Credit Memo/Adjustment Notes, Receive Payments, Deposits, Purchase orders, Inventory adjustments, Bills, Vendor credits, Bill Payment - cheque, Bill Payment - credit card, Time Entries , Supplier Credits, Cheques, Credit Card Charges, Credit Card Credits, Journal Entries and Price Level lists.
Supports a wide range of fields - we have access to the full set of fields available when importing transaction data into QuickBooks. If you can't find the field you need then let us know and we will add it.
Intelligently creates items, customers, or jobs if they are not in QuickBooks - if Axis finds that a customer, vendor or item is not yet setup in QuickBooks it will create it for you during the import saving you even more time.
Set up a constant – you have the option to select a constant value like a date or a class that can be applied to all transactions. Just specify the constant in the mapping and it will be added for all the transactions that are included in that import. You can even save the constant as part of the saved mappings options.
Preview your data before you import it into QuickBooks - before you commit your import to QuickBooks you can preview the transactions and edit those if you need to.
Powerful data validation - finally Axis will check your data before importing into QuickBooks to ensure that it is in the format that QuickBooks can accept, if it finds an error it gives you the chance to correct it and reattempt the import.
Clear and concise error reporting and handling - with the error reporting feature you open a log file to examine the issue that is causing the problem and the data row that was rejected so that you can reattempt the import using only the data that was rejected.
Convert amounts from including tax to excluding tax – if you have QuickBooks and have been using the Australian or UK versions of QuickBooks and been unable to import data where amounts are including tax now Axis will automatically convert those to excluding tax before import.
Import transactions into MYOB – If you use MYOB Accounting software you can now import, orders, quotes and invoices from text files or spreadsheets into MYOB. Create customer records if they don’t already exist in MYOB
Retain import settings - To save you time and make importing even easier your import settings are preserved the next time you open Zed Axis. It will remember the location of the file you were importing, the mapping you were using and any other setting that you selected.
Option to check if transaction already exists - You can now set an option in the importing options so that if the transaction already exists in it will either, duplicate it, skip it or replace it. More powerful ways of importing data into QuickBooks and MYOB
Auto Numbering - You can set the option to allow QuickBooks or MYOB to use the next sequential transaction reference number, Axis will still group rows together according to the mapped transaction reference number but will use the next sequential reference number available in QuickBooks or MYOB
Update contact details - If set then Axis can now update the address details of the customer or supplier record in QuickBooks or MYOB, meaning details are kept up to date automatically. Fields updated included full shipping and billing address, notes, phone, fax and email
In-depth help with mappings - To make setting up mappings easier you can now select directly from the mapping screen a link to a detailed help article that describes in detail all the fields that you can map to, what type of data is required, as well as required fields and data formats.
Export Module - Makes exporting transactions from QuickBooks easier
Export transactions from QuickBooks – now with a few click you can export transactions from QuickBooks into spreadsheets or text files
Export only transactions with an open balance – You can select to export only those transactions with and open balance by selecting the export and filtering by paid or unpaid
Select only the transactions you want - Choose from Filter for date ranges or references numbers to extract only the transactions you want.
Supports a range of export transactions types - if you need to export transactions from invoices, sales receipts, credit memos, receive payments, bills, bill payment - check, bill payment - credit card, check, credit card charges, journal entries, time entries, and price levels lists.

EDI Module - Adds Powerful advanced eCommerce Features
Import orders from eBay - You can now download orders from eBay Selling Manager Pro into your Axis Inbox and with one click add sales into MYOB or QuickBooks. Zed Axis on the desktop is connected directly to your eBay account so no more going online to check orders are delivered directly into the Axis Inbox
Import orders from OSCommerce Web Store - Connect to your OSCommerce web store and download orders and with one click import them into QuickBooks or MYOB. Orders are added directly to your Axis EDI Inbox and with one click can be imported as invoices directly into MYOB or QuickBooks.
Integrated Shipping Manager for Allied Express - From within the Axis Inbox, eBay and OSCommerce orders can with a few clicks be converted into shipping booking requests with customer delivery address information and consignment information including details of packages, dimensions and weights. With one click booking information is sent electronically to Allied Express and a booking confirmation received back. A thermal shipping label then can be printed, no need to write out the label by hand.
Automatically monitor a folder for new messages - you can set up Axis to automatically watch a folder for new import files according to your specific criteria. Matching files are then retrieved and added into the Axis inbox ready for processing saving you time
Automatically process import files in the background - as new files arrive in the inbox Axis can be set up to automatically process those in the background and import into QuickBooks or MYOB using a predefined mapping.
Send and Receive Transactions - When you need to send or receive business transactions such as purchase orders, sales order or invoices electronically from QuickBooks or MYOB then the new EDI module in Zed Axis can help. The new module allows you to setup trading parnters (supported Partners only, for addition partner support please contact support), send and receive messages into a familiar inbox and outbox.
